This past week the beauty industry mourned the loss of former Estée Lauder exec, Thia Breen. She was the group’s former North American president and died from cancer at 73.
 
Estée Lauder also completed its acquisition of DECIEM. ELC now oversees DECIEM’s flagship brand, The Ordinary, and hopes to expand the brand’s consumer outreach.
 
Revolution Beauty expanded its product selection on Amazon. The brand now offers over 300 products.
 
Rihanna plans to expand her beauty presence with a new Fenty Hair line. She made the announcement on Instagram featuring a new blond pixie cut. Fenty Hair will offer products “designed for all hair types.”
